"In the spirit of mentoring networks, you are invited to the official book launch of Black Women Navigating the Doctoral Journey Student Peer Support, Mentorship, and Success in the Academy on Wednesday, April 30th, 5 pm- 7 pm in the Edward St. John Building at the University of ÀË»¨Ö±²¥.

This book was co-edited by Dr. Sharon Fries-Britt and Dr. Bridget Turner Kelly. The book highlights the stories of Black women doctoral students who created peer mentoring networks to survive and thrive during their doctoral journey. Through research, we know that peer mentoring networks should be a recommended part of anyone's doctoral journey, especially minoritized students. We're excited to hear and learn from Black women who created their peer mentoring networks within graduate school, and we hope you'll join us! The attached flyer provides more information.
